Kinds of rounds
Vacation bidding
Employees rank their preferred vacation weeks (or blocks of weeks). Typically run annually.
Shift / Rotation bidding
Employees rank rotations — e.g. “Rotation A: Mon–Thu 0600–1600” vs “Rotation B: Wed–Sat 1400–0000”. Typically run quarterly or annually.
How to bid
Review the options
Each option has a label, a schedule or date range, and the number of slots available.
Rank your choices
Use the dropdown on the left of each option to set a rank (#1 = top choice). Leave options you don’t want as a dash (—).
Add a note (optional)
Some rounds let you explain your picks — e.g. “Rotation A is first because of childcare.”
Seniority
Your seniority rank is shown on each round page (“#14 of 47”). Lower number = more senior = you get awarded first. When a round closes, the system goes through bidders in seniority order and assigns their highest-ranked choice that still has a slot available.Seniority is set by admins. If yours looks wrong, talk to your supervisor or admin.

Tips
Rank more than just your favorite
If you only rank #1 and it doesn’t have a slot, you get nothing. Rank at least as many options as your rough seniority position suggests you might need.
You can save partial bids
Draft saves are automatic when you click Save bid. Come back anytime before the close time.
